Executive Briefings and Masterclasses

(BX-01)

In-House Executive and Senior Management briefings on Process Transformation and managing the Process Driven Organisation can be tailored from two hours to one day duration. Masterclass Sessions (two days duration) deliver greater detail if required. These briefings can be tailored to meet specific organisational needs and run flexibly to accommodate time and other pressures.

Executive Briefings are customized for Senior Executives who wish to better understand the principles and key practices involved in transforming business processes. We seek to help those executives and their managers understand and deliver the requirements for success, and their own critical role in transforming and sustaining a process-centric organization.

The kind of questions that arise are such as:

  • What is process transformation? How is it relevant to our organisation ?
  • To what extent is it driven by technology such as Workflow ?
  • Is is just the latest ‘management fad’, like BPR, TQM, Six Sigma and in what ways are they linked?
  • What type of active role do we have in transforming our business processes ?
  • What are the differences in the roles of the business professionals who transform the processes and the operational process owners who manage them?
  • We already do a lot of scorecard and customer satisfaction measurement & reporting – what is additional to this in process transformation ? Is it for executives only ?
  • We have continuous improvement programs, focused on customers and processes. Are we not already doing BPM?
  • Regarding the IT issues – how does it improve our business interaction with IT?
  • How mature is the IT BPM market? Is this more ‘silver bullet’ stuff ?
  • Where does the concept of the value chain fit into all this?
  • What are the issues for the people in the organization and its structure?
  • We have tried to push the Process debate ‘up the line’ in the past – why didn’t it stick?
  • What is compelling about process centricity that makes it critical to the customer?
  • How do we measure success? What are the real benefits? What are the metrics ?
  • What comes next?
